Hi Helen,

I guess if you wanted to cook them just once in a while and you were by yourself in the kitchen (safe) you could use a deep pot or a flat bottomed wok.

We must of course use Low Cholesterol oil, ensure that its very clean and very hot.

After the fritters are taken out of the oil, they should be placed on thick kitchen absorbent paper towels to soak up any extra oil that is hanging around.

We must also ensure that the raw liquid batter is thick enough to coat, but thin enough to run off the raw banana so that it is not too thick when cooked.

Thanks for dropping by again and happy cooking!

Warm regards,

Mike.

Michael, these look divine! I'd love to make these, but deep frying off the menu at home. I know I could buy a deep fat fryer but it would be another gadget, and tempting to use! Just have to enjoy these when out and about!
