Oh My Dear Mike,

I am so sad for your loss: there are unfathomable powers at work in this universe, I don't think anyone will come anywhere near understanding. The profound grief you feel is palpable and has brought tears to my eyes in reading this.

I want to assure you there are some extremely active people in the field of Child Protection - you know that this is one of my passions and I am currently engaged in a plan to 'hit the message home' across the UK., but enough of that ... here is a list of very worthy people who you might want to follow who are connected to the campaign for the safety and protection of our children fullstop!
@marykayhoal
@clarinette2
@mwilliamsthomas
@cindyteenadvice
@suescheff
@crispthinking
last but definitely not least @burgessCT

I think I have pointed you in the direction of some child protection software before Mike, and this doesn't seem appropriate here, now, but do go back to it later. It will help to give you peace of mind in one space.

You and Beatrice are in my thoughts.

Warmest wishes, and thank you for sharing this emotive subject, it might help to filter through to the masses the message that 'our children are a precious gift and need our love and protection 100% of the time'.

Hi Lorena,

I too am deeply sorry for your loss & hope you find peace in the knowledge that you will one day be together again.

I wrote this post to try to encourage parents to be a little more vigilant where ever they can to ensure their children are kept safe.

Lorena, it is great that you have dropped by today and shared this with all of us with the hope that others can find some value in your comments and input and maybe even feel better.

Warm regards,

Mike.

It's as if you knew I needed to read this and you couldn't be more right. Your post was amazingly touching and with all my heart I do feel for your loss. I have always lived with such a terror inside me ever since my sister's little girl died of cancer when she was just 3 years old. I loved her like a daughter and her untimely death had such an impact on my life. The "what if" has never left me and that traumatic moment of loss is still with me today while I raise my girls. I can barely grasp an idea of why someone would want to do such a horrible thing, but they are out there. I see children walking the streets after school so tiny and defenseless it makes me cringe, where are his parents?! Unfortunately, of all the beautiful things I teach my girls the most important one I can ever teach them is distrust and danger. Thank you again for leading me to this wonderful post, now I know there are more people like me out there and you are one of them Michael. Now I have to see this film! =)

Dear Catherine,

Thanks for dropping by and for the very kind words.

I have had some experiences in my life that I would like to share with others.

If I can help but one person feel better about themselves or their lives than I will be happy with that.

Sincere and warm regards.

Mike.

P.S. Let me know when your blog roll is up and running so I can link my site to yours too!

Hi Mike, I saw your blog from the ukfba website, and I'm so glad I did; you have an excellent blog. This particular entry is heart wrenching and you are just spot on about everything. I am still figuring out how to set up a blog roll, but I would like to add you to mines. Thank you for your compelling words.

Kind Regards
Catherine
